This end of the preseason is always tough for NFL players as every team ends up having to quickly go from 90 to 53 players.
Teams needed to be at the 53-man limit by Saturday afternoon after four days prior already cutting 15 players. Among those cut there were no shortage of familiar names. In addition to the 37 players the Chiefs cut, there were also plenty of other players released around the league that previously spent time in Kansas City.
By my count, there were sixteen former Chiefs that weren’t able to make it to a 53-man roster.
If there were any that we missed, pass them along in the comments!
